My build from day one has always been oriented to allow SWMBO the opportunity to drive the car. With a few reminders on kerbs, speed humps etc I don't see her driving the car as a problem.

The standard mechanical clutch will test her a little but it has always been the seating arrangements that have been a big limiting factor. I think there is enough give in the current set up to allow her to drive in semi comfort - we will see.

I am awaiting my VIN but after that I'll need some excuses to test the car out on longer drives. A trip down the GOR seems a likely candidate in the not too distant future.

The club is starting to look at such a drive later next year but that's too far away. Maybe an impromtu run can be arranged passing by your place of course!!

I'd be keen to look at this other toy you have in the garage anyway, to see how it is going.
