Just because a person is retired, it does not mean that they no longer do any work. It just means that they do not get
paid for any "work" accomplished during the day.
Do I miss the pay check? Not really, because I have done very well with my investments over my first 5 years of retirement. Ok, I lied just a little ... I'd like the extra money, but not the work. But the corporate bull**** was getting too thick over the last few years of employment.
I consider any day that I do not sleep in my bed as a vacation. Just my way of a little humor for all of my friends (both younger and older) that scurry around all day to "earn a living".
When I'm not home, I'm doing
different things as compared to when I'm home. Isn't that really the definition of "vacation"?
