I'll try to find some pics, but it's been a year since I did mine and I can't seem to remember.

The Ersons come in one piece, you don't have to assemble them with shims, springs, etc. You just bolt them on. Plus, you don't have to worry about which way the oil holes are facing on the shafts with Ersons.

I didn't have any problems at all with the rocker tip being centered on the valve. They fit perfectly out of the box with exception of a little clearance grinding.

You could always use head bolts instead of studs.
