When my pads get glazed it is almost impossible to lock up the tires. I tried the softer pads, but they made such a mess I could not deal with them, and they locked up the tires too easily. Those pads really work best on the track. So I put the original pads back in (after sanding them to get the glaze off) Locks up no problem, with good brake balance. When they glaze again, I will just pull them, sand 'em and put them back in.
