My brother-in-law hunts deer with a bow & arrow. He goes for nice long walks and sometimes he even sees a deer.

I almost bagged a deer when I was on vacation. I was driving about 11:30 PM after a night at a local watering hole, and a deer jumped right out of the bushes into the street ... and froze. I slammed on the brakes and missed him by 20 feet, as he (she?) leisurely walked across the road. I should have hit it because the meat would probably bring in more $$ than my daily driver is worth.

Made chili yesterday ... today was time for spaghetti sauce and some "special tomato mixture" I use for spanish omelets, fajitas and stuffed green peppers. I had about 2 lbs of hamburg left over, so I'm cooking a meat loaf as I type. I also made some corn muffin "tops". You can call me Emeril and kiss my ring.
