I have the 392/475 in my SPF. Uses
oil, but runs good at 3300 miles. (
Oil control rings most likely culprit). Demon 750 on engine now. Runs on pump gas 93. Idles at 850-900 and cruises at anything above 1700 RPM. Ran 12.0 @114 with a 1.80 60' on BFG Radial T/A's. Looking for more power now. Will look at the 514 FMS big block, should have put that in the car in the first place as it costs the same as the 475 HP Windsdor.
