Default Don't do it Eddy

eddytheb I hope you win your settlement, If you get your motor rebuilt or replaced, call it a day. Yea the guy screwed up. If you release his name his company may take a big hit. The ones that will suffer the most are family and workers. Did you get screwed, from the info and pictures there was a problem with either the assembly work or poor measurement. You have done more by having other people looking at this forum and see a problem with a new motor. There are a couple of other motor builder on the forum that have done questionable work. Tell the story if you want but be 100% sure that nothing you did or didn't do effected this problem. Checking rocker lash after a motor is broken in and a oil change are the first 2 thing done after breakin. Some machinist breakin motors 20 minutes other run them 1 hour. It's choice. I break all my motors in with only a single valve spring and rpm limit to 2,800 rpm. 2,200 rpm is my breakin speed other go 2,500rpm. IMO there is not going to be alot of different with a 300 rpm change. If someone want to know the builder, send a private e-mail. You won let the rest go. Rick L.
