It also depends on the specific T5. The older generic mustang T5s were very weak. The newer ones in the 5.0 GTs were called "World Class T5s" and were rated at 300 lb/ft of torque. The aftermarket ones only made by Ford Racing, are the "T5Z Superduty" and are rated at 330 lb/ft of torque and have all double moly clusters and gears.

The T5Z also comes with a really sweet short throw shifter, and a better 1st gear ratio.
