Thought I would chime in here… I saw a lot of hits coming form this thread to my site.
Yeah this X Cobra has been getting a lot of attention lately. I truly like the design and overall concept. However I am not a big fan of putting a LS7 from a Z06 in it. Just seems to be a slap in the face to the Classic Cobra. Don’t get me wrong I love the Z06 but would rather see the LS7 in a redesign of the Cheetah rather than a Cobra.
Well I hope they can produce it like they say. There other cars have mostly been re-bodies of other cars.
I am working on a Cobra inspired concept as well, hope to have the prototype finished by mid 08. I wish I could get as much publicity as this Racer X Car. My car is not really intended to replace a Cobra it was just inspired by the classic looks along with several other cars. It’s more of a modern car with classic looks that seats tall people.
