I have never been on one of the sites that you are talking about (actually, I didn't know that they even exist) but don't forget the following. When we were kids, we respected our elders and believed that they were wiser than we were. Today, a 15 year old thinks that he/she already knows everything. The fact that many of them don't know anything is totally irrelevant to them. The smart kids still (mostly) keep their mouths shut, listen, and learn. The stupid one just keep saying more stupid stuff. Of course stupidity is not limited to the younger generation.
