anybody having trouble seeing pictures in the 'garage' section???
I have deleted a few more pictures, and will resize most of the remaining.
I tried to keep one or two from each small event, and several from larger events, like Austin, Tulsa, run n gun, London, etc.
I will also use Snapfish to link, like you did Ron in your signature.
I don't really care anymore right now. I don't have time for this.
thanks for the explainations, and of course i don't take offense! We are all friends in here.
really, my gripe is this: I joined almost 4 years ago, and just started uploading pictures. I had NO IDEA anything about pixels, sizes, kb's, meg's, nothing. Just bought a digital camera two days after i got the Cobra and started taking pictures. Uploaded to computer, then straight to here.
There were no limits, I guess. If there were... I'm sure i would have been told at that time to resize, or i would have gotten 'error messages' that my space was full.
I guess what i'm saying is, the rules are changing in the middle of the game and it is hard for me to follow it.
I UNDERSTAND now the reasoning and logic behind the change, but certainly don't like it.
I would have certainly made every effort to LEARN how to resize 3 1/2 years ago if that was the requirement 'back then'.
Changing horses in the middle of the stream--- comes to mind, but i realize the site has grown immensely and it cannot accommodate tens of thousands of pictures.
I realize i am probably part of the problem- not a lot of posters put up 'photo essay's' and such, and i come along and post stories and photo essay's at every event.
Now lots of people post stories and essay's, and the gallery load/bandwidth evidently is too large.
I get it, but again, feel chastised wrongly for commenting in a couple of 'all cobra talk' threads. I feel I was being polite, funny in my 'complaints'. I don't appreciate being scolded when i wasn't being rude or attacking.
oh well i have a lot to do this week and if i take a little break from CC all the better.
I spent several hours at school yesterday decorating the halls with 'Christmasy decorations' for the State Final on Saturday.
We did a theme of 'Santa Baby, Bring me a Ring' (as in a state football ring) it was very cute!
I have a lot of things to do for Christmas, like buy decorations for my house (tossed out several lights and things last year) and also shop for presents.
This football thing is great, but really eating into my weekend time to get things done!
Peter is supposed to have an 'eagle board of review' Friday night, but that must be postponed. His Eagle Project paperwork is scattered all over the pool table, waiting for me to tabulate his volunteers' hours. A never ending job!
I am very glad to be so involved in their life; and if the car life has to take a back seat for awhile then that's ok.
ttyl.
k
we are all friends!!!
Ron... will you check on the garage photo situation??
thanks!
