DeLorean certainly was a lucky crook, all things considered. i am truly sorry he stole from British citizens and escaped the justice of this world. A few years in the Old Bailey would have been nicely deserved. He did pay a big price in Detroit, given the wifey thing and all, but certainly no restitution to Her Majesty's loyal servants.
John should have left that thieving task to Colin Chapman; who also escaped his due justice, simply by dying. Cheap shot escape, that. No talent, no really great lawyers lips. Shame really, rather undramatic, poor show and all that...
Who would have taken the most British Sovereigns, DeLorean's big hits in N. Ireland or Chapman's longer bleeding, mal-design torpedoing recommendations, tricky currency deals, off-shore money buckets of bag money or just general cheapness? Inquiring minds want to know.
i will be disappointed to learn that DeLorean came in second. He never planned on being second in anything.
