Default 427 Front End Rebuild

I am planning on refurbishing the front end suspension and steering components on my FE powered ERA 427 Cobra. Does anyone have any feed back (pro or con) on using poly bushings over oem replacements. Also, are the low friction ball joints worth the extra expense? The vehicle is for street use with very infrequent track excursions. I will probably use poly bushings and standard replacement ball joints unless otherwise advised. Any advise is appreciated.

Regards, John
