The E-M manual is so out of date, its practically useless. It can get very confusing when the instructions say brake lines on drivers side, fuel lines on passenger side, but they are all bent to be on the drivers side. You'll put the batt cables on passenger side and brake / fuel on drivers. Use caution with the manual when you get it, most references have been changed. Brett is a great help on each step but says they are hopelessly behind on the manual revisions.
As far as the front spring is concered, work with Vette Brakes & Products in St. Pete for suspension questions. Check them out on line at www.vettebrakes.com or 800-237-9991. That's where E-M gets their stuff.
