It's very interesting. I have a BBC 540 and the cam has an LSA of 114. Specs are 252/260 and .612/.634 and the cam is lumpy, and perfect for me. I believe the cam was installed straight up. A smaller cam is fine for me, less stuff breaks, but I'm trying to get an idea of what's norm with an stroked FE. My objective is reliability and longevity, not huge HP's. Of course, if I can get all three, then.................................all the better.
