Hello Keith, and thanks alot. I am not going to be pursuing a 427 monster auto due to the fact that this is first time out. I had a chance to drive a Torino with a 428 Cobra Jet and that made my head spin - the power was UNREAL and there was nothing like it. My first time out I was thinking a 351 prepared to produce about 4-450 hp with a Tremec five to harness the power. Have you ever owned a rig like this before? I did however see a listing on an old 427 block that needs a total makeover and the price was reasonable but like you say - EXPENSIVE none the less. I want a dependable snake, Looking for about 6,000 miles per season, maybe less. I realy cant wait to turn the key and GO wherever I want very quickly. With power to weight ratios unsurpassed by most supercars it will be extremely fun. And the research continues. Thanks again !
