Run and Gun 2000 I ran 11.6 at 124 mph with true street tires. I ran the street class that dictates no "R" rated DOT tires they must be True DOT street tires mine were Michelin Pilot SX's. To run these times with street tires a driver must feel the bite and not over power the lower two gears. Once in third gear push the pedal through the floor. With 3:27 rear diff. I was able to go through the quarter tight (6400rpm) in third gear. I have run quicker with this combo, but that was with cooler night air.
