Cobra Make, Engine:

When the time came to pick my engine for my plane -- the staggering number of choices was made a "bit" easier by keeping in mind that the engine had to meet the mission. Some people fly for aerobatics, some are speed freaks, others are all about economy.

My particular mission was long cross-country. Single flights of 2,000kms or longer at a stretch.

When my Cobra is finished -- I would like to occasionally take it to a track, but the primary mission is long, long rides alone with my thoughts and the scenery.

Given that design goal -- does it simplify my choice of powerplant. Or, does it complicate it?
