I think you'll be all right, but the truth is you won't know for sure until you try. A lot of us though just run both. I have both my puller fan and the pushers that you see below wired in to the thermo switch that sits in the lower radiator hose. If you already have a puller fan in your engine bay, I certainly wouldn't take it out, just supplement it with the pushers.
