I have four black pusher fans. They are controled in two stages, top two and then all four. Two adjustable thermostatic switches and dash switch, double pole double throw with a center off positionto, to go ahead and run the fans if conditions are anticapated. I have dash indicator light to tell when switched on, Fe with alluminum heads ,no use in letting temps get out of hand. Radiator is leaned back at top. Fans and shrouds cover the radiator. The thermostatic switches were a problem once. Master switch was located in an inconvient location to reach once belted in. So I frequently forgot to turn back on before belting in( lever latch link) what a pain. So I frequently left The master switch on figureing I'd be getting going momentarily. Anyway the hot water would collect at the top of the radiator where the themostic sensors were located. The fans would come on ( they wouldn't make much noise ) Next thing the little battery in the trunk was almost dead. If I had enough electric power to run the electric fuel pump and fill the carbs with gasoline, any incline and it would start. I since incorporated another master switch on the dash that I can reach from the seated and belted in position.
