I think the razor back has bred with domestic swine to get what is called "wild hog" all over the place. They are getting out of hand up here, but winters tend to cut back in their numbers.

Deep snow with none or little tree cover can make survival for the "wild hog" a real challenge.

So,the Razorback is the original and the "wild hog" is a replica,so to speak.

Are the wild hogs up there and what you hunted here in Texas about the same size ?
