The snow at this level stopped at about 3" and then froze. I think they got a few feet up in the mountains and are almost up to 87% of the normal snow pack. But after five dry years, they need all they can get up there. The lake is starting to show signs of coming up finally. Today's forecast was for rain off and on so it will most likely just be sunny and cold since yesterdays forecast was for rain and no mention of snow all day even when it was coming down like mad. The Thistle crop will survive. They would survive a nuclear war.

We could use quite a bit more rain. But as cold as it is I am afraid if it does try to rain it will turn to snow. That storm from yesterday left here late in the evening heading East. Tru & Warren had better get their snow equipment out.
