Default Anyone running Firestone Firehawk INDY 500's?

I'm looking into tires for my ERA 289FIA:

235/60-15
295/50-15

My selections are limited as I'm on 15" wheels.

Goodyear Eagle GT II's fit, but I've heard that they are very low-performing, and they come in last on a lineup on TireRack.com.

BG Goodrich Radial T/A's fair better on the TireRack.com line up, but I've also heard negative reports on these tires

Firestone Firehawk INDY 500's got the best rating out of the tires I compared on TireRack.com. I haven't heard anything negative (yet).

This is my first set of tires while I adjust and tune the suspension, so I don't want to put on the more expensive AVON's or Goodyear Billboards---maybe later.

Tires will be used for "cruising and spirited driving" and I will purchase track tires later. This is for road use.

Anyone used Firestone Firehawk INDY 500's and want to provide an opinion?
