I don't see the problem with the LS7's HP/TQE. I have a 427W with about 575HP at the crank and 475 RWHP, the LS7 should be about the same. No problems until I do stupid things.

I drive in the rain all of the time and performance in the wet is largely determined by tires. Yes, you can still easily overpower the tires but common sense (potentially in short supply) will get you through.

Traction control is determined by the connection between your brain and your foot. This is like guns, the safety is the grey matter between your ears.
