Rick,
This video is a good example of the need for what is called a "window switch". It a about $125.00 and it prevents spraying below a certain RPM - usually 3,000 to 3,500 RPM's. In this case, he was WOT off the line and caused the Nitrous to spray at low RPM. There are also electronic switches that prevent spraying in first gear or slow speeds.

Pretty exciting huh.
