Red face Summit Air Cleaner On 351W

Some time last year I asked about intakes for the 351W with limited hood clearance and stated I might try Summit's new aluminum cleaner with the filter top. I have done so and here's what I did to make it fit:
The cleaner comes with a nice billet top and bottom plate with a K&N-type filter sandwiched in between. Initially it bumped the hood so I cut off the throat that sits on the carb and and ground it down even. This revealed another problem. The fuel level screws on my Demon carb sit up top and interfere with the bottom plate, so I took measurements and drilled holes and wallowed them out so the screw now sit inside the cleaner. A little RTV to seal it up and I have almost an inch of clearance. I took a hex head 5/16" screw (Summit's comes with 1/4" to fit the Holley) and turned it into tapered head on the bench grinder so the top is now flat and I have the clearance I need. I talked with a guy from K&N about some sort of custom cleaner that might work but he quit after a while. I think this solution looks and works better.
