Ok I am done. I give up, I quit ,I am throwing in the towel, I surrender, or whatever it takes. I need to let this motor breath 750 CFMs and exept the dam Holly foam filter it can't be done. I have two and one quarter inch of space between the hood and carb, I have done the nine inch K&N with the extreme flow top. The 17 inch dual quad air filter with home made drop base . Can't lower the motor so we are going to cut the hood. Has anyone done this? And if so what scoop did you use?

Emersom motorsports has agreed to sell one of there larger scoops. Something about "delaminating" my hood thru me off.

I am running a nitrous plate on my car can't make myself give that up either.
