I'm keeping the 2008 C6 Z06 for sure, though. It's the other end of the spectrum from the Cobra in terms of refinement--a complement to a Cobra rather than a substitute. The C5 Z06 is arguably closer to the Cobra in rawness.

A C5 Z06 Corvette may be "closer" in rawness to a Cobra than a C6 Z06 Corvette. However, a Cobra and a modern-day Corvette (including the C5) are miles apart in terms of rawness. There's really not much comparison--they are dramatically different cars.
