WOW, Did this bring back memories! QS used to use paraffin..yes, candle wax, as a viscosity stabilizer. With less frequent
oil changes or a lot of low mile runs (not letting engine warm up) the cases (upper and lower) would just ooze sludge. What a mess, but was good for the engine builders!
