Yep, I think it was New York. But at least we need more dumb criminals like these. They pose more harm to themselves than society.
One guy out here went in to rob a 24 hour convenience store and tried to shoot the clerk. The gun misfired and he turned it around and looked down the barrel to see while he pulled the trigger. Worked great that time. No trial either.
