If you want the absolute original look, then you almost need to use the rivets. But I have seen some that have used the screws as the above posts said, and they are hard to tell apart, and a plus to me would be if you even need to take the scoop off, it is mush easier to remove the screws without as much chance of damaging the paint. Just my opinion, but I would use the screws if it were me doing it after seeing how they look on others.
