Some but not all... That helicopter you flew in, or the Abrams, or that truck or humvee was more than likely painted with AKZO Nobel military paint, a Netherlands supplier. If you were issued a JLIST suit or coveralls for chemical protection they were designed by Blucher GMBH, a German Co., under licesnc to Tex-Shield. If you had a contact with the Chem warfare guys the hand held optic readers they used were more than likely from Ahura Scientific, a Japanese company. And a lot of the military's special forces use small arms from Israel, Galil's, Belgium, various FN designed automatic weapons, and the list goes on. Oh yeah the M-16 is being fazed out for a better, lighter more effective combat weapon.
