Just out of curiosity...
Is anyone interested in a carbon-fiber spat? It would probably only fit the ERA shape. I suppose it could be painted too, but the carbon-fiber pattern looks cool
. I already made a prototype "quicky" using matched molds - it comes out very thin (~.03") and finished on both sides.
I haven't figured the best way to attach them though - maybe with a very thin double-sided tape or some sort of non-permanent glue or wax.
