I went to the wider stack (3 1/4" I think) from Inglese (Comp Cams) for a tighter fit. I also had the old rubber grommets left over from the original screen set up. Using that grommet (I guess that's the right word - rubber part used to hold the screen on) the air filter fits much better. Still a little play but pretty snug.

Because I have one of the older SPFs my hood did not clear the filters in the back until I dropped to a 1 1/2" stack height instead of the 2 1/2". Does not seem to affect performance and with the filter on you can not see the height difference. That may help in your situation too. Stacks sell pretty quick on Ebay!!

If you'd like, I'd be happy to email pictures with the filters off. Let me know. You will be happy once you get them where 'ya want 'um.

Good luck - Terry
