Jay,

I assume you are saying the chrome over brass is somewhat adjustable, but the aluminum is not. Am I correct?

I noticed my windshield (OEM aluminum) seems to "bulge" up in the middle as if it could be laid back a little. The weatherstipping is compressed very little in the middle and alot toward the sides. This to me means that the weatherstipping would be compressed and actually seal better in the middle if it was pushed back. But, if you say it can't be done, I believe you and don't want to break mine by trying.
