I'm very mechanical but I have no welding training but know engines. The books is actually for a friend. He's looking at finding out what it takes to build one of these. Right now I think he's at the basic stage of figuring out the overall cost and labor. It'd be a weekend project so I think he wants something with a frame already intact.

I will try to talk him into reading on a forum because its basically how I learned all about the cars I've owned and modded.
