Final got out this weekend - the 50++ temp was just warm enough to feel like spring. The day started with a heavy dark overcast but as the sky cleared and went a bright blue with puffy white clouds all was right with the world.
My co-pilot had her hood up and tight and a face mask covering all but her sunglasses and we got some looks from the less fortunate (those without cobras) but she was warm and we had some fun with it making the ride all the more fun. Stopped at Blackwell’s Steak House in Wading River for lunch made a toast to celebrate the day and had a “nice” ride home. The car was happy, I was happy and had a full belly it put the whole winter behind me. I’m ready – can’t wait for good weather!
