How long could it have taken to wipe the grease and dirt off the timing marks. Besides, the visual inspection is far more important than whether the car actually passes the tail pipe emissions. I mean, come on, we can't have people replacing painted air cleaners with chrome ones for crying out loud. Take it to China. Anything that moves will be ok there.
Edit: By the way Jamo isn't Governor yet. But we are going to try to get a movement going to have him run for Governor and Pat as Lieutenant Governor. Basis of the platform will to be get the state back on track to get out of debt and to not deport the illegals back to Mexico as that is a violation of their rights. But it says nothing about deporting them to Arizona.
