I too would like to know more about the change in the pin lugs. As recently as March 2001, I chatted with Trigo trying to identify the tool that one uses to remove and install these pins. I was told 12mm allen wrench. It worked, and I was not asked what version pin lug I had.

Ummmmm. Interesting.
