Years of sidepipes/bikes have taught me a couple of things:

1) Always wear jeans when in a Cobra or on a bike.
2) Always tell people "WATCH THE PIPES!" when they are getting in/on (if its hot) and definitely when they are getting out of/off the thing. This is really important for the Cobra, as most typical people (i.e. Camry drivers) aren't expecting a 1400 degree pipe sitting outboard of the rocker panel.

My buddy had my Cobra for a weekend. He likes to wear shorts... now he has a semi-permanent memory of the weekend on the back of his calf.

For kids, I usually pick them up and set them in the car. The problem is when you get some lil' porker that you can't lift, he can't jump in, and he doesn't have the coordination to get in. He gonna get burned!
