Yea, the Windows 95 lap top is a screamer. But it still works well. I don't think I am going to be needing most of my stuff very much longer and am starting to look at disposing of several things. About the only think that I won't let go is the 69 Cobra.
Warren,
Thanks for the camera advise. The Olympus is a very nice and easy to use camera and I keep it set on the default setting which averages 1 to 1.7Mb per picture depending on backgrounds & etc. It also has sound with it which I don't use and the rapid shooting option, about a shot per second. Also options for manual use, and for shooting all kinds of ways, such as through glass, sports, background at night and on and on, most of which I will never use. If I set it to the SHQ it lowers the number of pictures on a 512 XDL Card from 280 to around 48. I did that once just to see what the picture was like and it was huge. I have also set it to lower resolutions to see how much it degraded the picture and for most work they are good. You are right about the 10 power zoom as I shake so much I have to brace it or use the tripod.
