I have under $1100.00 in it and that includes the widescreen monitor. That is less than I paid for my current one. Microcenter had the right stuff on sale. The processor was $199.99 reg 399.99. The motherboard, case w/450 watt power supply, Hard drive, Monitor and speakers were all on sale. A basic keyboard and mouse are cheap, and the DDR2 ram is cheaper than the DDR. I already had the DVD Burner, 3rd case fan is one I had laying in my cabinet I also have 2 available W2K licenses and 1 available Vista license. The only thing that wasn't on sale was the video card and it was only $110.00.
Warren, I missed out on that one.
