Turns out is was the emergency brake cable/assembly. Brushing against rear wheel, causing some scoring of wheel, etc.

Kirkham (Joe Weight) is all over it...working with my guy at Auto Scientific to resolve. New parts being shipped as we speak.

Can't wait to get the machine back. Weather has warmed up nicely!
