Looks like the confusion is between "replica" and "replicate. Each and every one of the Cobras owned here (with very few exceptions) are "replicas" but a minutely small group of us set out to "replicate" in spite of it being so subjective. To replicate down to each and every dirty detail would seem to be an attempt to try to pass the vehicle off as an "original". You'd be open to extreme criticism at at that point. As long as you can handle that, it's OK too...
This is why most of us customize our "replicas". And some even go so far as to put six cylinder engines and single exhaust into our "replicas". Can you imagine!
Authenticity and originality all have their places in this hobby. That's strictly a choice by the owners and anything in-between. No need to criticize.
