You should know how much Comp cars changed hands in their first few years..
CSX3011 crossed at Mecum in 2006; from their write-up on the car:

CSX 3011...was the first of the production 427 Competition Cars that wasn’t pre-sold to a customer. An internal Shelby American memo listed 3011 as a “Shelby/Salvadori” car to be tested and then sent to the “show car” department for storage. Early in 1966, three 427 Cobras, including this car, were rented to MGM Studios for use in an Elvis Presley movie which was released as “Spinout.”...From there the car traveled to Mexico where it was owned and raced by hall of fame racer, Moises Solana.

I did a photo and detail shoot of CSX3011 this past summer...it is back in red with full windscreen, in the hands of a prior owner.
