Jason,
Make sure you find someone that has welded on a Ford 8.8 diff, if they are not careful the axle tube will warp. Also with the 3-link you can adjust the diff left & right with the panhard bar. Fix the the issue with the SC bracket first then look at the back half. Enjoy it will be a hot summer. I started tearing into my car at this time last year, pulled the motor on Memorial Day. I didn't get fully street legal again till mid Oct. You might want to invest in a evap cooler on wheels from Home Depot, it makes a difference.
