battery disconnect & efi keep alive revisited ?
alright, i've been doing some studying and want to bounce my plans off of someone who knows better.
my efi tune guy wants the efi power to go directly to the battery +, so somewhere inline i should put a fuse.
my alt hot wire is going either to the battery side of the disconnect or to one of the other paired terminals, this being a 4 post disconnect switch, of which i have read is supposed to cut alt. power milliseconds before battery disconnect to avoid "load dump".
i also have a keep alive wb o2 wire so i am considering running a 5 or 10 amp resettable circuit breaker between the two power posts on the disconnect to supply power.
does all this sound kosher? i think i've read 100 ways to do this stuff.
