What system are you running?
vector1 Mark all systems are different. I think you may have some info wrong. I have not heard of a WB O2 sensor needing power all the time. This could burn out the sensor if it has a heater and would kill the battery. I have a Speed-pro system and unhook it everyyear. The programming for the software stays inside and in the spring the car starts right up after cleaning out the oiling of the motor for winter storage. Most EFI systems do want a 12 volt source for memory in there ECU's. More info would help on the system you are running Rick L.
