I also got to wondering about the less heat emmitted with having this coating. Well I took out my trusty thermo laser and checked both Duplicolor and HPC. There wasn't enough of a difference to make that claim as far as I was concerned. I use Duplicolor now and couldn't be happier. I carry a can with my clean up pack so I can easily touch up any areas.
The great thing about this stuff is that when the headers get hot it bakes on and stays on. Save your money and buy $20 worth of Dupli-color and you will be happy. If you want super shiny then go Stainless steel. It would be cheaper in the long run. Stainless discolors a little around near the heads but still look good overall.
One more thing .. I was told that my engine was the cause of the dicoloration. That's not what the Motec guy says so it was easy for me to make the cal and use the Dupli-color. OK .. I'm done now .. Gotta switch over to E-Trade and buy some stock in Dupli-Color.

Hersh,

You should know better by now.

Don't you know that you should now open your threads with "Ged Day Mate" instead of "Hey Guys". Don't let it happen again.

Regards and take care now.
