I know the Billboards are directional and came marked with white marker as to LR,RR,LF,RF with arrows pointing forward. It's not the tread pattern but the direction of the bias-ply. The GY BB's have serial numbers on 1 side of each tire. It looks like this example...55AV MB01 D5L. If your standing behind your car facing the front the SN's on the front tires should be on the left side of each tire and the SN's on the rear tires will be on the right side of each tire. Dont confuse the white sticker with the bar code as the serial number. This orientation is out of the RogerKrouse book and it includes all Goodyear and Avon radial and Bias-ply for rear wheel drive.
